A regulated, multi-product knowledge estate had become fragmented after years of shifting ownership, product changes, rebranding, and organizational restructuring. Documentation was aging, metadata and taxonomy had lost meaning, and governance expectations and boundaries were unclear. The estate needed structure, alignment, and a governance model autonomous teams could follow.
A new product was being built from the ground up with no existing knowledge structures. I designed the information architecture, content types, metadata, taxonomy, workflows, and governance alignment to support cross-team clarity and long-term scalability.
The enterprise GRC tool was required for governance but unusable as a knowledge platform. I designed a SharePoint-based knowledge architecture, including metadata, taxonomy, information architecture, templates, and a custom SPFx front end, to create a governed, searchable library for operational content.
